Zo hehe, daar ben ik weer… ik geloof dat mijn inspiratie eindelijk terug begint te keren.
Ik bedacht namelijk (natuurlijk weer op het allerlaatste moment, want hee… inspiratie laat zich niet haasten 😉 ) dat ik wel een leuk kado kon maken voor de opening van de school waar ik tot voor kort werkte.
Dus ik flanste een soort kijkdoos in elkaar…
I’m back! I think my inspiration is also back. At the very last moment before I had to go to the festive opening of the school I used to work, I thought of a nice gift to make. So I made this shadow box…
Een houten bak met glazen ruitje schilderde ik wit (gewoon met acrylverf) en ik plakte er een foto van de school in.
Met twee gehaakte boompjes op een kurk, een tafeltje, twee houten garenklosjes-stoeltjes en een welkombord van lolliestokjes en twee potloden werd het al wat…
Daarna maakte ik een Trippel (of Trappel) van vilt (naaldvilten) en tadaa!
It’s made of a wooden box with a glass window that I painted white (with acrylic paint), then I added a photo of the school.
With two crocheted trees on a cork, a table, two wooden bobbin-chairs and a welcome sign made of lollipop sticks and two pencils it started to look like something. Then I needle felted a Trippel (or Trappel) and tadaa!
Ik geloof dat ze er wel blij mee waren… 😉
I think they were happy with this gift… 😉
